With this audiovisual tool, you can get closer to the concrete realities of environmental, human and animal impact experienced by rural, indigenous and urban communities in the context of the Anthropocene. Short films are a powerful tool for capturing and sharing experiences within a participatory approach and involvement of the anthropologist and all the communities. This is a contra-colonial approach because the protagonists are other alterities. The short films are also records of research, a kind of shared field notebook. The protagonists share with us their daily lives and how human action transforms, undermines and destroys their living spaces, which leads us to reflect on global phenomena such as climate change, pandemics, colonialism, capitalism, gender justice, indigenous people and ecologies.
